Biblical CREATION

The Biblical Creation view/model is the belief that life, the universe and all laws in it were created deliberately by a loving, all knowing and ever present God about 6,000 years ago as revealed in the book of Genesis in Scripture which is considered the inerrant Word of God.

The Creation model can be broken down into several interwoven sections that each deal with a key issue of the origins of said issue. They are as follows:

  1. Universal Creationism-Which is the doctrine that God created all the universe through divine means and that He did not use preexisting materials to create it since He spoke it into existence. It is thus opposed to all forms of Pantheism, ie. Evolutionary origins.
  2. Biological Creationism-The doctrine that all Kinds of organisms were created by the same God that created the Universe and formed them in situ and therefore the organisms did not gradually evolve over time from preexisting, different Kinds of organisms. Therefore being opposed to Pantheistic Evolution.
  3. Human Creationism-The doctrine that each and every human being and soul is created purposely by God personally. This stands in direct contrast to Evolutionary origin views of humanity which teaches that humans evolved from apes and may or may not (or do not in many cases) posses souls.
  4. Religious Creationism-Is the doctrine that the universe and all life and laws were created by God, in the case of Biblical Creation, the most literal and the original Creation model, He is identified as the God of Scripture. Scripture is therefore considered the inspired Word of God and our guide to history and origins as well as the future and salvation through Christ.
  5. Philosophical Creationism-The defense of Creation through philosophy by use of philosophical arguments in support of the Creation account and God's existence and is usually tied in directly with theology and Scripture in general.

All 5 of these subcategories come together like the gears in a clock to support and rely on each other to make up the entire Biblical Creation argument based on Scripture as the divinely inspired word of God, and by drawing from observable and repeatable operational science as well as firmly authenticated historical science.

Biblical Creation, often called "Creationism", can be further divided into two intertwined subcategories which are, Religious Creationism, which infers and refers strongly from the Hebrew Scriptures to support its claims and considers Scripture to be the inerrant word of the God of the Bible. It deals with the theological and philosophical arguments in support of the Genesis account of Creation and rarely cites physical science, though they are strongly connected via interpretation.

The other is Scientific Creationism, which is the defense of the Biblical account of Creation as described in the book of Genesis using well authenticated evidence from scientific and historical findings. "Creationsim", like Intelligent Design, is best known for its standing in direct contrast to Darwinian Evolution (although there are some that attempt to combine Darwinism and Christian beliefs, ie. "Theisitic Evolutionists" or "Naturalistic Theists", the two theories are in such strong contrast to each other both scientifically and philosophically that it is impossible to truly do so). Biblical Creation cites the same legitimately authenticated evidence as Intelligent Design to support its claims of deliberate creation By the God of Scripture and treats the creation week account in the book of Genesis as the origins of our universe and all life forms on our planet as well as all observable laws within.

Young Earth Creationism, or YEC, which uses a literal translation of the accounts of Genesis regarding creation week and the flood of Noah alongside testable and repeatable science to state that the Earth, all life on it, and our universe was created approximately 6,000 years ago.

Young Earth Creationism is the more often used name for Biblical Creation making them synonyms.  YEC uses the same straightforward understanding of scripture that has historically been used, be it by Christ Himself when preaching the gospel, or by the founders of modern science who sought to better understand God's works.  Biblical Creation does not attempt to incorporate the man-made teachings of Pantheism, such as Evolution,  with Scripture and puts God's Word above all else.

Biblical Creation causes much controversy by it's' literal interpretation of the days of Creation week as 24 hour periods since many have compromised on the interpretation as accommodating long periods of time and not actual days. Biblical Creation, or YEC, is the most conservative of the Creationist models and is poorly received by some, sadly, even some Christians. However, YEC uses both scripture and science to not only make its case, but to give well defined examples to support its statements. Young Earth Creationism has made impressive and intriguing results in recent centuries with scientific findings, lending even more to it's credibility. Young Earth Creationism, has indeed been found by many to best explain our world and all that is in it by demonstrating how all legitimate scientific findings point to and pay homage to a loving and all knowing God who masterfully crafted the universe and all therein.

Biblical Creation has in fact made such astonishing finds in science and history in support of the Creation model of Genesis that most Evolutionists have for several decades now refused to, and have even been advised not to, publicly debate "Creationists" as the Evolutionists will surely lose the debate. Just in recent years there have been monumental findings from many fields of science that have been what many consider to be "death blows" to Evolution.

It is plain for all to see where the evidence from history and science point us to the God who made us, but it is up to us to seek Him out and better understand Him and His works through the ways He has given us and grow closer to Him.
